Meyer and Dana Orthodontics in Rapid City, SD is seeking an Insurance Coordinator who will serve as the link between patients, insurance providers, and our clinical team to ensure accurate, timely processing of claims.

You will verify coverage, obtain authorizations, submit claims, educate families about benefits and financial responsibilities, and help keep patient accounts current in a collaborative orthodontic practice.

Qualifications

• Verifying patient insurance coverage and authorizations for treatments.
• Submitting and following up on insurance claims to resolution.
• Educating patients and families about benefits and financial responsibilities.
• Accurate dental billing and coding practices to ensure proper charges.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Submit claims and manage denials or unpaid claims.
• Educate patients on coverage and their financial obligations.
• Code dental procedures accurately for billing and reimbursement.
• Monitor accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
• Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth insurance processing.
• Other assigned duties included.
