You’ll assist patients and coordinate with clinical staff to maintain organized records. Dental experience is not required; a passion for service and teamwork matters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional admin or insurance experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling claims.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and helpful when dealing with insurers and patients.
• Comfort explaining insurance benefits and claim processes to patients.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments.
• Submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and resolve denials.
• Review explanations of benefits (EOBs) and ensure accurate postings.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and policy details.
• Assist patients and families with questions related to insurance coverage and claims.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate treatment coding.
• Maintain organized insurance records and documentation.
• Support other administrative tasks and office duties as needed.
