Job summary

Red Rock is seeking an Insurance Benefits Coordinator in Oklahoma City. The role coordinates with all Red Rock sites to verify insurance, enroll consumers in DMH eligibility when needed, and establish payer sources.

It involves data entry, reporting, and collaboration with Medicaid and other insurers to obtain accurate benefits information. The position supports financial procedures, communicates changes to sites, and assists with staff education on funding needs while adhering to agency

Qualifications

• One year of related healthcare experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance for all Red Rock consumers.
• Manage daily appointment schedule and reporting.
• Establish funding sources and enter data accurately.
• Coordinate with payers (Medicaid, contractors, commercial insurers) for benefits and eligibility.
• Inform sites of insurance terminations and changes.
• Educate staff on funding processes and requirements.
• Attend staff meetings and relevant training.
• Perform other duties as needed.
