Job summary

Rockstar is hiring a remote Insurance Verification & Prior Authorization Coordinator on behalf of a physical therapy practice in Arkansas. This role manages verification, authorizations, and HIPAA-compliant records to ensure timely access to rehabilitation services.

The coordinator communicates with insurers, maintains authorization records, and supports the clinical team to address inquiries, while working U.S. Central Time hours and with a dedicated backup plan.

Qualifications

• Prior experience obtaining benefit information and prior authorization in a physical therapy setting is required
• Familiarity with StrataPT, Availity, Inovalon, My Ability, and the United Healthcare portal is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong English dialect
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Amenable to work U.S. Central Time business hours
• Reliable backup system in place to maintain coverage during internet or power outages

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance verification and benefit information for physical therapy services
