Qualifications

• One year of related healthcare experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ten key, computer/data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Ability to work independently with diligence and accuracy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance for all consumers and manage scheduling data.
• Establish funding sources and enter data accurately.
• Document eligibility history with detail and precision.
• Coordinate with payers by phone, fax, email or portal.
• Notify sites of insurance changes and terminations.
• Identify consumer financial responsibilities and apply guidelines.
