Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency in Sacramento seeks an Insurance Associate to support the Client Advisory teams with meeting prep, summaries, and data handling. You will quote coverage via carriers, gather declarations, and assist in the onboarding of new business while coordinating visits and approvals.

The role requires solid MS Office skills, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. A P&C license or ability to obtain within 6 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and multi-system navigation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills for multiple tasks.
• Detail oriented to ensure accuracy in all work.
• Self-discipline, motivation and ability to meet objectives.
• Holds P&C license or can obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for prospect and client meetings by supporting the review process.
• Update summaries, create spreadsheets and binders, obtain quotes and renewals.
• Assist in new business processes by organizing Applied files and related documents.
• Quote coverage via carrier websites and obtain policy declarations.
• Schedule client, carrier and guest visits; manage spaces and greetings.
• Process endorsements and inquiries; respond to billing and mortgage/lienholder questions.
