Job summary

Gregory & Appel, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager in Indianapolis to oversee day-to-day client service for a diversified book of business.

You will collaborate with Producers and Account Executives to support new business, renewals, and implementation while maintaining high client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of insurance experience, an active P&C license, strong communication, and organization skills, with proficiency in MS Office and Applied Epic preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance experience in account management or client service.
• Active P&C license; Private Client experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills; Applied Epic & MS Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients; build relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal partners.
• Respond to client requests on coverage, billing, eligibility, certificates, and claims service.
• Communicate timelines, deadlines, next steps, and identify coverage gaps or opportunities to expand relationships.
• Own service execution for new business and renewals: timelines, applications, submissions, marketing, proposals, and implementation.
• Review proposals/renewals for accuracy and participate in client meetings as appropriate.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, AORs, certificates, and other policy transactions.
• Review carrier documents for accuracy and obtain corrections when needed.
• Ensure accurate invoicing; educate clients on billing requirements; resolve discrepancies with carriers.
• Maintain complete account records and review work for accuracy.
