Job summary

Marsh in Kansas City is seeking an Account Manager to develop and execute insurance placement strategies, manage complex client accounts, and foster long-term relationships with clients and carriers. This on-site, full-time role requires risk expertise and market insights to deliver tailored insurance solutions and drive new business growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field; 2–4 years in insurance brokerage, placement, or risk management across Property, Casualty, and FINPRO.

Responsibilities

Design and implement placement solutions aligned with client needs and commercial objectives.
Prepare coverage specifications and obtain carrier quotes under the assist, advise, and assume model.
Bind coverage and maintain binders, exhibits, and contracts to high standards of compliance.
Contribute to pricing strategy and go-to-market approaches for competitive placement outcomes.
Interface with client executives, underwriters, and internal teams to support retention and new business.
