Qualifications

• Active Mississippi Property & Casualty license preferred; unlicensed candidates must obtain licensing within 60 days of hire.
• Insurance experience preferred, but candidates with customer service, banking, financial services, administrative, or other relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve problems independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technology; insurance agency management system experience is a plus.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist clients with coverage questions, billing, claims reporting, and other insurance needs.
• Manage client accounts, including renewals, coverage reviews, remarketing, and policy rewrites.
• Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Research and resolve client, carrier, and policy-related issues with timely follow-up.
• Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and follow-up activities in the agency management system.
• Build strong client relationships, identify coverage needs, and support customer retention.
• Collaborate with team members and insurance carriers while following established agency procedures and workflows.
