Job summary

HUB International in Sacramento is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support commercial lines accounts. You will handle certificates of insurance, policy changes, renewals, and client presentations while maintaining accurate file documentation and timely communications with clients and carriers.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 1-2 years in insurance, and a Property & Casualty license within six months.

Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• 1-2 years insurance industry experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Property & Causality License required within first 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assists Account Management team with all aspects of the account-service process.
• Responds to policy inquiries via phone and email; handles questions about coverage, changes, payments, cancellations.
• Performs service work including certificates of insurance, policy changes and client payments.
• Participates in renewal preparation and generates renewal updates on accounts.
• Assists with marketing clients to carriers and coordinating premium financing.
