Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Management team in servicing commercial lines accounts in Los Angeles. You will handle certificates of insurance, policy changes, renewals, and client communications to ensure high retention and service standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of insurance experience, a Property & Causality license within 6 months, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• 1-2 years insurance industry experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Property & Causality License required within first 6 months.
• Experience in Medical Malpractice Insurance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Account Management team with all aspects of the account-service process.
• Responds to policy inquiries via phone and email; handles questions about coverage, changes, payments, cancellations.
• Performs service work daily: certificates of insurance, policy changes, client payments.
• Participates in renewal preparation and generates renewal updates.
• Assists with marketing clients to carriers and coordinates premium financing.
• Checks policies/endorsements and audits for accuracy; prepares quotes and proposals.
