Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Sales/Product Manager to oversee Installed Insulation product line, drive sales initiatives, and coordinate scheduling of installs with customers. You will analyze market trends, manage inventory, and collaborate with logistics and purchasing to maximize revenue.

Ideal candidates have a marketing or business management background, five years of product sales experience, and strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field and five years product sales experience.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and customer support for sales efforts.
• Strong knowledge of the construction industry and B2B selling.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product line to maximize financial goals and track performance against competitors.
• Plan and manage sales efforts; oversee or initiate optimal purchasing schedule.
• Visit customers on job sites to initiate sales and provide technical and customer support.
• Develop short and long-range product line strategy plans including sales and profitability objectives.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate purchase, receipt, delivery, and service/warranty activity.
• Develop and deliver product presentations and training to sales force and customers.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Marketing, Purchasing and other support groups to optimize sales initiatives.
• Analyze consumer trends and channel dynamics to maximize competitive edge.
• Drive value-added sales processes and manage complex proposals with vendors.
