Job summary

The Ohio State University is looking for an Instrumentation Coordinator for Sterile Processing at New Albany. This role coordinates daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to ensure efficient case flow and aseptic handling of instruments across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma, at least one year of instrument processing experience, and CRCST certification (or be willing to obtain within six months).

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or Equivalent.
• At least one year of experience as an instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
• CRCST certification issued through IAHCSMM or CBSPD required upon hire, or must obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Track and allocate sterilized instrumentation across the Enterprise; ensure aseptic delivery.
• Order, procure and organize instrument trays on a global level to service the Enterprise.
