Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an instrument and electrical technical specialist to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems and related equipment across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Essential duties include configuring SCADA systems, PLC/DCS controls, and reading schematics; performing tests per DOT/PSM and maintaining proper documentation; and participating in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Experience troubleshooting control systems (SCADA, PLCs, DCS).
• Familiarity with DOT 192/193/195, NEC and OSHA 1910.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems and plant equipment.
• Repair and maintain PLC/DCS controls and associated instrumentation.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics including P&IDs.
• Test, calibrate, and document control and safety devices per regulations.
• Participate in on-call duties and safety programs.
• Mentor less experienced staff and provide oversight.
