Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an Instrumentation Designer II to support the development of electrical design deliverables for power generation, renewables, BESS, data centers, substations, transmission, and industrial infrastructure projects.

The role independently executes design assignments, develops detailed electrical drawings and models, and supports EPC delivery from conceptual design through construction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of electrical design/drafting experience.
• Experience in power generation, EPC, industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise electrical design deliverables for power generation, renewable energy, BESS, data centers, and industrial facilities.
• Prepare and update SLDs, electrical plan drawings, conduit layouts, grounding systems and lighting plans.
• Model and coordinate 3D electrical designs and integrate vendor equipment models.
• Support conceptual through construction phases, produce material take-offs, track deliverables, and assist with construction packages.
