Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Controls Engineer to support reliability, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated production and bottling equipment in Prattville, AL. You will work closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to diagnose problems, improve control systems, and reduce downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell control systems, SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and interpret Allen-Bradley PLC code within Rockwell Automation environment.
Diagnose, repair, test, calibrate, and adjust instrumentation, electrical circuits, automation systems and control equipment.
Support pressure, temperature, flow, level, proximity and detection instrumentation.
Troubleshoot bottling and packaging equipment (fillers, labelers, conveyors, coders, etc.).
Tune and optimize process control loops; support batch and continuous manufacturing.
Read electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control narratives; issue root-cause analyses.
Maintain SAP PM or CMMS records; manage parts inventory and equipment history.
Train maintenance technicians and production teams on controls and instrumentation.
