Job summary
Teksky LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, and maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing environments. The role involves troubleshooting, commissioning, and integrating automation equipment with HMIs, SCADA, drives, and industrial networks.
The candidate should have strong hands-on PLC programming, electrical schematics literacy, and experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Program, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based control systems.
- Support automation equipment, robotics, HMIs, SCADA, drives, and industrial networks.
- Troubleshoot production and controls issues to minimize downtime.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and integration.
- Work with maintenance, engineering, production teams, and equipment vendors.
- Develop and maintain controls documentation, electrical drawings, and system specifications.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, equipment reliability, and production efficiency.
