Job summary

Diageo is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer in Montgomery, AL to support bottling lines and liquid processing with a strong focus on Allen Bradley PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair instrumentation, electrical circuits, and control loops while maintaining inventories and safety compliance.

The role requires BAS in Engineering, 2+ years of instrumentation and electrical maintenance experience, and proficiency with Rockwell systems.

Qualifications

BAS in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience.
Minimum 2 years instrumentation and electrical maintenance experience.
Minimum 2 years Rockwell control systems experience.
Experience with SAP PM or other PM computer system preferred.
Proficient in Allen Bradley PLCs.
Understand SCADA systems (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
Working knowledge of Ethernet, Profibus, Remote I/O, DH+ Control Net and Device Networking.
Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot, calibrate and repair all types of Process Instrumentation.
Must be able to read and comprehend electrical and instrumentation drawings.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair facility instrumentation, controls, and electrical circuits.
Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize control loops and DCS screens.
Maintain instrumentation and electrical inventories in SAP CMMS and report part usage.
Train team members and work with cross-functional teams.
Work closely with Maintenance Team Members and participate in asset care initiatives.
