Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer for a hybrid role in Tempe, AZ. You will design electrical circuits and panels, develop control systems for diverse processes, and support startup activities on site.

The role requires collaboration across disciplines to optimize performance and meet client objectives. You will bring a BS in Engineering and 4+ years of Instrumentation & Controls experience, with knowledge of PLC/DCS and P&IDs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Control.
• Working knowledge of PLC, DCS and other controls applications.
• Experience developing P&IDs.
• Experience sizing valves and specifying instrumentation in industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
• Provide on-site startup assistance and coordinate work with staff.
• Develop options and optimizations for process control and automation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
