Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Richland, WA is seeking Engineering Interns to apply standard engineering techniques in design and project support across Aviation & Federal markets. You will assist lead engineers, contribute to data collection and documentation, and help with presentations and reports.

The role requires enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program (Chemical, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical) with ABET accreditation preferred, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and legal authorization to work in the United

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program related to the department work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
