Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking a second shift Service Support Technician to diagnose and repair customer products returned to Service. You will partner with Technicians and Customer Service and report to the Senior Service Manager.

Responsibilities include repairs to subassemblies, cross-department coordination, data recording, and maintaining test equipment and standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• AS in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent training.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Proficient with standard tools and test equipment.
• Able to read schematics, assembly drawings, and test/calibration procedures.
• Experience with PC-based applications including MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Performing repairs to subassembly level.
• Interfacing with various departments to meet customer requirements.
• Make adjustments to return instruments to original specifications.
• Record test data, diagnose failures and analyze information.
• Maintain standards and test equipment required to accomplish tasks.
