Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Service Support Technician 2 in Massachusetts to perform repairs and upgrades on assigned product lines and to collaborate with the service team to meet customer demands.

You will diagnose failures, test at sub-assembly level, and contribute to product improvements. A pathway for growth and professional development is provided within a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel for data analysis and presentation.
• Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, or other system software.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and upgrades on assigned product line(s) as required.
• Build/repair products according to Process Details and Service Bulletins or approved samples.
• Remove and replace defective or damaged electronic assemblies; diagnose mechanical and hardware failures.
• Test and evaluate to sub-assembly level.
