Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC is seeking positive and energetic Instrument Fitters to join their experienced workforce in Port Arthur, Texas. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of craft-specific experience and be knowledgeable in OSHA regulations. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing tube bending, and installing instrument components such as stands and headers. Qualifications

• 5+ years of craft-specific experience in instrumentation.
• Ability to pass NCCER Skill Assessment cut score.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply OSHA regulations in fieldwork.
• Read and interpret loop sheets and P&ID's.
• Perform installation of various instrumentation components.

Skills

Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations

Ability to read blueprints and loop sheets

Tube bending abilities

Installation skills for instrument-related components

Understanding of high-pressure valves and fittings

Tools

The Position:

We are looking for positive, energetic INSTRUMENT FITTERS with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Knowledgeable in communication and applicable OSHA rules and regulations
• Read and understand loop sheets, P & ID's, and blueprints
• Have the ability to perform tube bending and tube bending in groups
• Be able to Install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray, screw pipe, decotrace, and steam tracing
• Have knowledge of high-pressure valves and fittings
• Able to use mechanical and hydraulic powered tubing benders, weld fittings, and pipe specifications
• Knowledgeable in communication and applicable instrumentation OSHA rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 5 years craft-specific experience.
