Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC is seeking an Instrument Fitter to join our field crew for diverse instrumentation tasks. You will interpret loop sheets, P&IDs and blueprints, and perform tube bending and installation of instrument stands, air headers, and related components.

The role requires knowledge of high-pressure valves, use of mechanical/hydraulic tubing benders, and welding fittings, with a minimum of four years of craft-specific experience and successful NCCER assessment.

Qualifications

• Must pass NCCER Skill Assessment.
• Must pass post-offer, pre-employment DISA drug/alcohol test and background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret loop sheets, P&IDs and blueprints to support instrumentation tasks.
• Install instrument stands, air headers, instruments, tube trays and related fittings.
• Perform tube bending and group bending tasks.
• Work with high-pressure valves and fittings.
• Utilize mechanical and hydraulic tubing benders and weld fittings.

The Position:

We are looking for a positive, energetic Instrument Fitter with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Knowledgeable in communication and applicable OSHA rules and regulations
• Read and understand loop sheets, P & ID's, and blueprints
• Have the ability to perform tube bending and tube bending in groups
• Be able to Install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray, screw pipe, decotrace, and steam tracing
• Have knowledge of high-pressure valves and fittings
• Able to use mechanical and hydraulic powered tubing benders, weld fittings, and pipe specifications

Requirements:

• Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment DISA drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
