Job summary

A leading construction firm in Louisiana is looking for positive, energetic Instrument Fitters with at least 4 years of craft-specific experience. Candidates should be knowledgeable in OSHA regulations, able to read and understand blueprints, and skilled in tube bending and installation of various instruments. This position offers excellent wages and a complete benefits package, and is open to all qualified applicants. The role also requires passing a drug test and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
• Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Proficient in tube bending and grouping tube bending tasks.
• Ability to install instrument stands, air headers, instruments, tube tray, screw pipe, decotrace, and steam tracing.
• Knowledge of high‑pressure valves and fittings.
• Experience with mechanical and hydraulic tubing benders, welding fittings, and pipe specs.
• Must meet NCCER Skill Assessment.
• Must pass post‑offer drug/alcohol test and background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Complement the experienced workforce.
• Read and understand loop sheets and P&ID's.
• Install instrument stands and related components.

The Position

We are looking for positive, energetic Instrument Fitters with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Knowledgeable in communication and applicable OSHA rules and regulations
• Read and understand loop sheets, P & ID's, and blueprints
• Have the ability to perform tube bending and tube bending in groups
• Be able to Install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray, screw pipe, decotrace, and steam tracing
• Have knowledge of high-pressure valves and fittings
• Able to use mechanical and hydraulic powered tubing benders, weld fittings, and pipe specifications
• Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)Skill Assessment.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
