Job summary

ISC Constructors in Louisiana is seeking positive, energetic Instrument Fitters to join our safety‑driven team. You will work on electrical, instrumentation and controls projects, reading loop sheets, P&IDs and blueprints, and performing tube bending.

Candidates must have at least 4 years craft experience, be able to install instrument stands, air headers, and related hardware, and pass pre-employment drug/alcohol tests and background checks. Excellent wages and benefits are offered.

The Position:

We are looking for positive, energetic Instrument Fitters with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Knowledgeable in communication and applicable OSHA rules and regulations
• Read and understand loop sheets, P & ID's, and blueprints
• Have the ability to perform tube bending and tube bending in groups
• Be able to Install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray, screw pipe, decotrace, and steam tracing
• Have knowledge of high-pressure valves and fittings
• Able to use mechanical and hydraulic powered tubing benders, weld fittings, and pipe specifications
• Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)Skill Assessment.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
