Job summary

ISC Constructors is seeking a positive, energetic Instrument Fitter to join our team in Beaumont, TX. The role requires the ability to read loop sheets, P&IDs, and blueprints, and perform tube bending with a capable, safety-minded mindset.

Candidates should have NCCER Skill Assessment readiness, willingness to pass post-offer drug tests, and at least 4 years of craft-specific experience. ISC offers excellent wages and a complete benefits package for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet NCCER Skill Assessment cut score.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand loop sheets, P&IDs, and blueprints.
• Perform tube bending and tube bending in groups.
• Install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray, screw pipe, decotrace, and steam tracing.
• Have knowledge of high-pressure valves and fittings.
• Able to use mechanical and hydraulic powered tubing benders, weld fittings, and pipe specifications.

The Position

We are looking for positive, energetic an INSTRUMENT FITTER with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Knowledgeable in communication and applicable OSHA rules and regulations
• Read and understand loop sheets, P & ID's, and blueprints
• Have the ability to perform tube bending and tube bending in groups
• Be able to Install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray, screw pipe, decotrace, and steam tracing
• Have knowledge of high-pressure valves and fittings
• Able to use mechanical and hydraulic powered tubing benders, weld fittings, and pipe specifications

Requirements

• Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)Skill Assessment.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
