Job Description for Maintenance Planner and Lead Maintenance Planner

Constellation, the nation's largest producer of clean, carbon-free energy, is seeking qualified individuals for the roles of Maintenance Planner and Lead Maintenance Planner at the Crane Clean Energy Center in Middletown, PA. These positions are crucial for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant maintenance in compliance with all relevant standards and policies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare work packages for maintenance activities, including corrective repairs, preventive maintenance, surveillance, and modifications.
• Conduct field walkdowns to analyze and improve work package quality, collaborating with various departments.
• Define procedures, drawings, and materials needed for planned work, and facilitate package preparation through various permits and documentation.
• Verify and approve work instructions to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and review maintenance procedures to maintain standards and facilitate work package development.
• Manage projects involving other system planners or contractors.
• Participate in planning meetings, reviews, troubleshooting, and process improvements to support station operations.

Qualifications

Maintenance Planner (XEAT)

Minimum of a high school diploma and four years of craft discipline experience.

Lead Maintenance Planner (XEAU)

Minimum qualifications include:

• Four-year technical degree with five years' experience in the discipline, or
• Two-year technical degree with seven years' experience, or
• Nine years of relevant experience without a degree.

Additional requirements include five years of power plant or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degrees (2-year or 4-year)
• Completion of supervisory/management training
• Minimum five years nuclear power plant operations experience
