The University at Buffalo Gifted Math Program seeks a part-time experienced mathematics teacher for afterschool classes focused on students in grades 7-12. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching 5 hours weekly, differentiating instruction, and maintaining effective communication with students and parents.
This role provides the opportunity to actively support talented students in their educational journey through a structured program from September to April, promoting a strong learning environment.
The University at Buffalo Gifted Math Program is looking for a part-time experienced mathematics teacher for an afterschool math class at a grade level in the range 7‑12. The classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 to 6:30 p.m. or from 6:30–9 p.m. They run from September through April. The Gifted Math Program works with 7th through 12th graders throughout Western New York who compete through rigorous testing to enter this program.
