Job summary

Mathnasium of Buffalo Grove is seeking part-time Administrative Assistant/Lead Instructor to support K-12 students with Mathnasium Method-driven instruction. The role offers after-school and weekend hours in-center, with opportunities for advancement and a supportive work environment.

You will teach in-center, online, or hybrid, maintain a safe learning space, and assist with administrative tasks while mentoring students and coordinating with families.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
