Job summary

Mathnasium of Buffalo Grove is seeking a flexible, part-time Administrative Assistant/Lead instructor to support after-school sessions and weekend programs using the Mathnasium Method. You will lead, coach, and collaborate with a team to deliver engaging math tutoring in a dynamic learning center.

The role emphasizes helping students progress through Algebra I and beyond, communicating with parents, and maintaining a safe and professional environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
