Job summary

Wake Technical Community College is seeking part-time faculty to teach non-degree Workforce Continuing Education courses in Data Analysis. Instruction may address Analytics Manager, AI Engineer, Data/Data Mining Analyst, and Data Scientist pathways with delivery on campus, at sites, or via Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher degree is required.
• Five years of professional work experience is required.
• Equivalent combination of education, industry experience, teaching experience may be considered.
• Availability to teach the full assigned schedule and complete onboarding and training.

• Delivers instruction in in-person, live-online, blended, or other approved formats.

Wake Technical Community College is expanding its pool of part-time faculty to teach non-degree Workforce Continuing Education courses in Data Analysis. Instruction may address the occupational roles, specializations, skills, and industry-recognized credentials associated with the Analytics Manager, Artificial Intelligence Engineer, Data/Data Mining Analyst, and Data Scientist pathways. Courses may be delivered on campus, at community or employer sites, through Microsoft Teams, or in another approved format based on scheduling needs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical instruction for learners with varied backgrounds and levels of experience
• Ability to develop measurable learning objectives, instructional materials, demonstrations, hands-on labs, applied projects, and assessments
• Ability to maintain accurate electronic records and use Microsoft 365 and other College-approved instructional and collaboration systems
• Ability to complete all required documentation, onboarding activities, compliance training, and instructional preparation by established deadlines
• Current technical knowledge demonstrated through recent employment, teaching, or certification
