IDEA Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal of Instruction in El Paso to lead and coach teachers toward ambitious student outcomes and college readiness. The role emphasizes daily observations, data-driven coaching, and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), at least 3 years of full-time teaching, and prior leadership or administrative experience.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Experience: At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience
• Teacher leadership or administrative experience required
• Proven track record of achieving success in the K-12 setting
• Experience managing/coaching others preferred

Responsabilidades

• Focus on IDEA’s core purpose to get all students into college
• Lead instructional staff to achieve measurable and ambitious results
• Lead instructional staff to improve teaching through daily observations and coaching
• Supervise implementation of TEKS-based curricula and assessments
• Review lesson plans and provide feedback
• Synthesize data and develop strategies to meet goals
• Maintain trustful relationships with students and families
• Utilize technology to support teacher development and student achievement
• Oversee campus-based tutoring sessions
• Participate in weekly manager check-ins and school meetings
