Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal of Instruction to lead, coach and develop teachers toward ambitious student achievement. You will monitor progress, ensure on-track college readiness, and support school-wide instructional improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with at least three years of full-time teaching and proven K-12 leadership experience. A collaborative, data-driven approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of full-time teaching experience required.
• Teacher leadership or administrative experience required.
• Proven track record of achieving success in K-12 setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional staff to achieve measurable results.
• Coach teachers on curriculum and instruction through observations and feedback.
• Supervise implementation of TEKS-based curricula and assessments.
• Engage in data conversations to develop improvement strategies.
• Communicate student progress with families and maintain relationships.
