Job summary

Illinois Central College seeks a Coordinator - Instructional to design and coordinate faculty development initiatives that advance effective teaching and student success. You will collaborate with faculty and campus partners on onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing professional learning across instructional modalities.

The role focuses on coordinating learning experiences, leveraging instructional technology, and reporting outcomes to support institutional priorities and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, instructional technology, or related field.
• 3 years of teaching, training, faculty development, or instructional support experience.
• Experience with online or Web-supported learning and LMS platforms.
• Strong communication and confidentiality with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate faculty onboarding and professional development programs.
• Provide consultation and training to faculty on effective teaching practices and instructional technology adoption.
• Develop LMS training and support for faculty, staff, and college stakeholders.
• Collect, analyze, and report data on program participation and outcomes for continuous improvement.
