Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or related field.
• At least two years of higher education experience in course design or instructional technology.
• Strong understanding of learning management systems (e.g., Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, Canvas) and digital learning tools.
• Commitment to inclusive and accessible course design based on UDL and equitable teaching principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Online Education Services' mission of delivering quality instructional content and LMS-based support.
• Collaborate with faculty to design, revise, and align courses with learning outcomes and accessibility standards.
• Assist in adopting and adapting Open Educational Resources (OER) to reduce student costs and improve quality.
• Support professional development on instructional design best practices, AI-informed teaching, and ethics.
• Upgrade and test the LMS and related tools; review emerging software for adoption.
