American Airlines is seeking an Instructional Designer to design scalable, interactive training for frontline team members at the Fort Worth HQ. You will own curricula, apply ADDIE and agile methods, and collaborate with leaders to align learning with business goals.

You’ll analyze needs, measure effectiveness, and drive behavior change while leveraging AI tools to accelerate development. Strong communication and vendor management are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training.
• 3 years designing courses and curricula for frontline team members.
• Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with learning technology tools (authoring, video editing, microlearning, etc.).
• Experience with instructional design for performance-based training.
• Technical writing experience in training methodologies.
• Experience with Agile project management.

Aufgaben

• Design and deliver scalable, interactive training programs addressing complex business needs.
• Own training program strategy and curricula portfolios; manage project pipelines.
• Apply ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy and agile methods to learning journeys.
• Serve as advisor to leaders; align learning with organizational priorities.
• Perform needs analysis and evaluate learning effectiveness; drive behavior change.
• Source and collaborate with training vendors; manage contracts and costs.
• Leverage AI-powered authoring tools and emerging tech to improve development cycles.
• Mentor teams; use project management tools to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Prepare executive-level progress presentations; demonstrate program impact.
• Contribute to a fun, inclusive work environment.
