Job summary

American Airlines Inc. is seeking an Instructor, Ground Operations Training to deliver and continuously improve training programs for ground operations teams at the DFW headquarters.

You will facilitate courses, mentor learners, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality content and effective learning experiences. You’ll travel extensively, domestically and internationally, to support courses and initiatives while maintaining records and engaging leadership across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
• 2 years of experience working in an airport environment with knowledge of ramp operations.
• Previous classroom facilitation and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate American Airlines ground operations training programs.
• Connect with, develop, engage and guide learners within your care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically, creating a welcoming learning atmosphere.
• Provide effective and timely feedback; helping elevate the facilitation of courses and content quality.
• Collaborate with other team members across the training organization on various projects.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and materials.
• Support and participate in special projects and programs such as pilot classes for new training initiatives.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with airport and corporate leadership.
• Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally to facilitate courses and provide mentorship and support.
• Ability to work days/evenings/weekends/holidays
