Job summary

United Airlines is seeking an Instructional System Designer to create, implement, and maintain flight attendant training programs aligned with FAA and other regulatory guidelines. You will design engaging content, assessments, and curricula while ensuring ongoing compliance across multiple departments.

The role requires collaboration with Multimedia, Training Operations, and Inflight Safety teams, plus possible on-camera participation for training videos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant instructional design experience.
• Experience with e-learning design and development and flight attendant training.
• Ability to obtain United flight attendant qualification and complete initial training.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain flight attendant regulatory training programs to FAA/TSA/DOT standards.
• Develop engaging adult learning content and assessments.
• Review and audit courseware for compliance and quality.
• Collaborate across Multimedia, Training Ops, Inflight Safety, and Flight Ops.
• Support Training Operations and participate in end-to-end project delivery.
• Contribute to multimedia projects and may serve as on-camera talent.
