Job summary

Steele Solutions seeks an Instructional Designer in Milwaukee, WI to develop, maintain, and improve training content and process documentation that helps employees understand engineering standards and follow standardized workflows.

You will lead multiple design projects, create SCORM-based courses for Percipio LMS, apply adult learning principles, and measure learning outcomes to boost performance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Organizational Development, Technical Communication, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages instructional design and training projects from planning through completion.
• Develops engaging learning activities and courses addressing training needs.
• Creates and maintains process documentation and libraries, including Percipio-based courses.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to identify needs and learning objectives.
• Produces learning materials and media (audio, video, simulations, graphics).
• Develops SCORM-based courses for Percipio LMS.
• Applies adult learning theories to measure learning outcomes.
• Develops exercises, assessments, and practice opportunities.
• Promotes accountability and collaboration across teams.
