Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Instructional Designer to develop and manage comprehensive training programs and documentation within a manufacturing/engineering environment. You will craft SCORM-compliant content, align with engineering standards, and drive learning initiatives using Percipio.

Collaboration with SMEs is essential to define objectives and outcomes. The role requires strong project management, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to produce multimedia

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field.
• Experience designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating instructor-led, virtual, blended, and e-learning training programs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, needs assessment, learning objectives development, and training evaluation practices.
• Experience with LMS including course development, deployment, reporting, and content management.
• Experience creating SCORM-compliant e-learning content using iSpring Suite or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve training content and process documentation.
• Enable employees to understand engineering standards, follow standardized workflows, and perform job duties.
• Independently manage instructional design, training, and process documentation projects from planning through completion.
• Develop engaging learning activities and content addressing identified training needs.
• Deploy training courses through Percipio.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and learning objectives.
• Create learning materials and media, including audio, video, simulations, graphics, and interactive activities.
• Develop SCORM-based courses for Percipio LMS deployment.
• Apply instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and evaluation practices.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and effective communication across teams.
