Job summary

Fahrenheit IT in San Diego is seeking an Instructional Designer I to support knowledge and skill development across programs and materials. You will work closely with subject matter experts, managers, vendors and cross-functional teams to understand policies, procedures, systems, and required skills to design effective training solutions aligned with project goals.

Job description

The Instructional Designer I will support knowledge and skill development of programs and materials. He/She will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME), Managers, vendors, and various cross-functional teams to understand aspects of policies, procedures, systems, and skills requiring instruction to recommend appropriate training solutions that align with the project and company objectives.

Qualifications

• Produce instructional materials for various instructional delivery methods to meet with project specifications (e.g., classroom, e-learning and written job aids, etc.).
• Write course content to reflect and expand the scope, sequence, and learning objectives developed through team collaboration.
• Collect content for development of training materials (e.g., text, graphics, animations, audio, glossary, test questions, etc.) to ensure alignment with training and learning development strategies.
• Must have experience demonstrating proficiency with Captivate 7 or higher and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
