Apple's Instructional Products team is seeking an Instructional Designer in Culver City to develop customer-facing materials for professional creative apps and consumer productivity tools. You will shape how users understand and engage with Apple's features with precision and clarity.

You’ll work at the intersection of writing craft and content design, partnering with engineers, designers, product managers, editors, and other writers.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and editorial skills with attention to tone and clarity.
• Background in technical writing, instructional design, education, or related field.
• Ability to break complex features into clear, sequenced steps.
• Experience using data to guide content decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with overlapping timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and write instructional content for Apple software, hardware, and services.
• Analyze user goals to determine what to include and how to sequence it.
• Use data to identify gaps, prioritize work, and measure impact.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to understand the products.
• Manage content across multiple products and release schedules.
• Incorporate AI tools throughout the workflow from research to delivery.
• Evaluate alternative content approaches when standard formats aren’t right.
