Job summary

Charter Communications' Spectrum brand is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop and elevate employee training programs across the organization. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver impactful content and ensure programs meet business objectives while inspiring continuous improvement.

This role supports in-person and virtual training delivery, tracks milestones with team tools, and helps empower employees through effective training experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Learning or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of instructional design and development or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of management and personnel.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts to craft engaging learning experiences.
• Design and develop high-quality learning content tailored to the needs of employees.
• Track project progress and milestones using team tools.
• Lead in-person or virtual 'train the trainer' sessions to empower others.
• Diagnose and elevate risks related to instructional design projects to leaders and stakeholders.
• Review training materials to confirm objectives are achieved and implement enhancements.
• Provide revisions to instructional materials based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry tools and learning processes.
• Coordinate with Learning and Development staff to produce effective training deliverables.
