Job summary

Granite School District in Salt Lake City seeks a School Instructional Coach for a 1.0 FTE, one-year contract. The role focuses on non-evaluative coaching to teachers, PLCs, and school teams, leveraging data-informed practices to improve student outcomes district-wide.

The position requires a valid Utah Instructional Coaching endorsement or willingness to obtain it within 2 years, plus a current USBE license and 3+ years of classroom teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Requires one of the following: Utah Professional Educator License or equivalent.
• Must have an Instructional Coaching endorsement or willingness to obtain in 2 years.
• Minimum 3 years of successful classroom teaching; 5+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-evaluative, job-embedded coaching to teachers and PLCs.
• Lead coaching cycles, modeling, observation, and reflective feedback.
• Support data-informed decision making and MTSS implementation.
• Align coaching with SIP and district strategic initiatives.
• Maintain coaching records and participate in required professional learning.
