Job summary

Frisco ISD seeks an instructional coach to strengthen educator effectiveness through job-embedded professional learning and collaborative leadership. You will empower teachers and teams with reflection-based improvement and guidance aligned to best practices to raise student achievement.

Working under Teaching and Learning, you will build campus capacity, facilitate learning walks, data-talks, and coaching cycles, and support curriculum alignment with the UbD framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Valid Texas Secondary Teacher Certification at the appropriate level.
• Strong knowledge of current curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Effective collaborator with knowledge of planning protocols.
• Three or more years of classroom experience preferred.
• Campus leadership experience preferred.
• Experience facilitating professional learning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support, communicate, and model district priorities under Teaching and Learning.
• Collaborate with campus and district leaders to monitor impact on student performance.
• Strengthen instructional foundations and alignment to standards and curriculum.
• Lead UbD backwards planning through PLC questions with teachers.
• Provide coaching and training to improve instruction and student learning.
• Lead ongoing, job-embedded professional learning at campus and district levels.
• Partner with teachers to analyze data and support goal achievement.
• Foster a collaborative culture across departments and content teams.
• Maintain ethics and confidentiality regarding student and staff information.
• Engage in MTSS, EOC/STAAR review, and curriculum meetings to grow.
