Job summary

The Instructional Coach collaborates with administrators to align coaching activities with SIP and district initiatives, supporting MTSS for academic and behavioral growth.

Qualifications

• Requires Utah USBE license or equivalently recognized educator license.
• Endorsement in Instructional Coaching or commitment to obtain within 2 years.
• Master's degree or higher in education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-evaluative, job-embedded coaching to classroom teachers and teams.
• Lead PLCs, data-informed decision making, and MTSS integration to improve student outcomes district-wide.
• Support implementation of state standards, district initiatives, and SIP objectives.
• Coordinate coaching cycles: planning, modeling, observation, and reflective feedback.
• Maintain coaching records and collaborate with administrators and district staff.
