Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery BOCES is seeking an Instructional Coach (TOSA) for a full-time 1.0 FTE role to support districts with coaching, PD, and instructional planning. The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers and administrators to close achievement gaps through data-driven strategies and research-based instructional methods.

The position requires NYS Teaching Certification and strong classroom teaching experience, with training provided for PD development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NYS Teaching Certificate.
• 5+ years classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Experience/development/presentation of professional development (training provided).
• Ability to use data to guide instructional strategies to close achievement gaps.

Responsabilités

• Develop and support instructional plans aligned to NYS standards and district goals.
• Analyze student data with teachers/administrators to diagnose needs and identify strategies.
• Provide individual or group instructional coaching and mentoring to teachers.
• Manage and distribute instructional resources and provide training on their use.
• Encourage use of technology and innovative classroom strategies.
• Demonstrate extensive understanding of NYS learning standards and instruction methods.
