Job summary

Northwest Regional Education Service District seeks a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) – Instructional Services, Content Specialist for Regional Math Supports. The role supports 20 districts across Columbia, Clatsop, Tillamook, and Washington counties with math instruction and MTSS data-informed coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in curriculum, instruction, counseling, or teaching.
• Oregon TSPC Teaching License or ability to obtain license timely, including Mathematics Endorsement (prefer Advanced Mathematics).
• 3+ years of PK-12 teaching/educational experience.
• 3+ years of professional development planning and delivery including coaching.
• Experience leading equity work.
• Valid Driver's License; transportation and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate professional learning, including school coaching, to 20 districts and NWRESD staff.
• Contribute to development, coordination, and implementation of a networked learning model.
• Lead content area expertise in Mathematics and MTSS/data-based decision making.
• Engage in reflective practice and coaching conversations to improve instructional practices.
• Travel across four-county region to provide off-site trainings and collaboration.
