Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Instock Manager in the Worldwide Grocery Store Inventory Management team to drive shrink reduction and maintain inventory health across the grocery network, with emphasis on Sub Same Day and Grocery Fulfillment Center operations.

You will partner with Inventory Management, Category, Operations, Finance, BI and Tech to identify shrink drivers, translate data into actionable insights, and drive actions that improve inventory health and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance).
• 2+ years in supply chain, inventory management, or project management.
• 2+ years of Excel experience.
• Experience using data/metrics to back up assumptions and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own analysis and reporting of shrink performance at site, category, and ASIN levels.
• Deep dive into inventory defects like expiration and excess inventory.
• Support shrink-reduction initiatives across SSD/FC.
• Collaborate with category and site teams to translate insights into actions with owners and timelines.
• Track initiatives against savings and drive closure via established mechanisms.
• Support weekly/monthly business reviews with insights and follow-up actions.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and analytics processes.
• Build relationships across Inventory, Operations, Category, Finance, BI and Tech.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs and manage competing priorities.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
